An announcement from marching band: We performed our show entitled “Under the Big Top” in Scholastic competition, class B. The Marching Patriots took the first place trophy and swept all four categories, Best Visual Effect, Best Percussion, Best Auxiliary, Best Music Effect, with a score of 75.9 overall. It was our first competition of the season. We are playing our show on the home field on October 18th at Americana, the show that we host here at Franklin.

Schoolcraft Community College is hosting a College Fair on Wednesday, 10/8/2014 From 6-8 p.m. all students are encouraged to attend. This event will be held at the Vista Tech Center on the Livonia Campus.
Michigan Technological University will be visiting Franklin on Thursday, 9/25 during 3rd hour. Request a pass from your counselor if you wish to attend.

Boys Win of Last Week: The Boys Cross Country team beat John Glenn in a dual meet by a perfect score (15-50) last Tuesday. Girls Individual Performance of Last Week: Kendall Payne, Girls Golf, shot a 42 and took 1st place in the team's dual meet victory over John Glenn. Boys Individual Performance of Last Week: Gage Wheeler, Boys Cross Country. Ran a personal best time of 17:46 and took first place overall in the team's dual meet victory over John Glenn last Tuesday.
